EAT STOP EAT

We go through some variants of intermittent fasting to give you an idea of the variations so you can find what suits you. EAT STOP EAT Do not eat for 24 hours. Eat Stop Eat involves a 24-hour fast once or twice a week. This method was popularized by fitness expert Brad Pilon and has been quite popular for a few years. Fasting from dinner one day to dinner the next day is equivalent to a full 24-hour fast. For example, if you end the dinner at 18.00 on Monday and do not eat until dinner at 18.00. On Tuesday, you have fasted for a full 24 hours. You can also fast from breakfast to breakfast or lunch to lunch - the end result is of course the same. Water, coffee and other calorie-free drinks are allowed during fasting, but no solid food is allowed. If you are doing this to manage your weight, it is very important that you stick to your regular diet during the eating periods. In other words, you should eat the same amount of food as if you had not fasted at all. The potential disadvantage of this method is that a full 24-hour fast can be quite difficult for many people. However, you do not have to go all in right away. It is good to start with 14-16 hours and then go up from there. There are several different versions of this method. Some of them allow about 500 calories during Lent. However, a small study found that fasting every other day was not more effective in reducing weight or maintaining weight than a regular calorie-restricted diet. A whole fast every other day can seem quite extreme, so it is not recommended for beginners. With this method, you can go to bed very hungry several times a week, which is not very nice and probably unsustainable in the long run. Summary Fasting every other day means that you fast about every other day, either by not eating anything or by just eating a few hundred calories. Just make sure to eat healthy, balanced meals during the non-fasting periods The Kickstart Team
